So a small boat will bring you from out in the water to the shore, and then when you get there, there's going to be beach bars, restaurants, maybe a waterfall hike, or some other natural attraction. In the Mediterranean, you're typically docking each night, so you can walk off and on the boat as you please.
There's going to be cobblestone roads, shops to visit, maybe some fortresses or ruins. It's usually a lot bit more of a cultural experience and a lot to take in.
